Labor Day = Fun

I spent the Labor Day holiday working on my 6'6" 4 wt. bamboo rod. I was thankfully able to finish planing the tip and begin working on the butt section. The activity of the day was a toss up between the rod and fishing. I decided the go with the rod because the TVA didn't post the release schedule until about mid-day for the two closest tailwaters. I opted to be a hermit and stay in the garage all day. Did anyone else get to go fishing? If you did, lets us know how it went. Here are some photos of the completed tip.
