Fishing Report

Fishing reports are an often very helpful resource to the local and the traveling fly fisherman . I am hoping to post fishing reports or links to reports from guides throughout the southeast. This may be a task that proves too much for me but we will see.

The Hiwassee River, Tennessee- Southeastern Anglers Guide Service

Mossy Creek, Virginia - Murray's Fly Shop - Map marking the lower portion of the stream.

The Great Smokey Mountain National Park - R&R Fly Fishing - Weather

The Davidson River, North Carolina - The Davidson, due to recent rain, has some better flow to it now. The better flows are in the lower sections of the stream. The story is you are going to need some light tippet (7-8x) and your dry fly box. They are taking Yellow Sallies, PMD's, Sulphurs, Caddis and Midges. - Altamount Anglers
